Location: Toronto, Canada (onsite)Reports To: Senior Operations Manager / CEO Role Overview An established and growing player in the warehouse automation and storage systems sector is hiring a Structural Engineer to support large-scale racking and intralogistics projects across North America. This is a remote-friendly position ideal for technically strong engineers looking to contribute to $1M–$15M projects in a collaborative, fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct structural analysis and design for racking, shuttle, and mini-load systems used in warehouse automation. Ensure designs meet engineering codes and standards (e.g., AISC or local equivalents). Collaborate with project managers and solution design teams to deliver compliant, efficient structural solutions. Review and validate technical documentation, calculations, and load-bearing requirements. Support project planning by identifying risks and providing expert input on structural integrity. Work closely with global manufacturing teams to ensure steel structures sourced from Europe and South America meet North American compliance. Minimal travel required. Ideal Candidate Profile Experience: 2+ years in structural engineering, preferably within warehouse automation, racking, or heavy steel structures. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; familiarity with AISC standards or equivalent is essential. Background: Structural design for racking systems, industrial automation, or material handling infrastructure.
